Does xAlert really work in Do Not Disturb mode?
Yes. xAlert requests the Android permissions needed to raise a critical alert that plays a sound and shows a full-screen notification even while the device is silenced. You can turn this off per alert.
What can I monitor?
Websites and API endpoints over HTTP, SSL certificate expiry, and any numeric metric you send us such as CPU, memory, queue length or revenue.
How often are checks run?
Every 5 minutes on the free plan and as often as every minute on premium. During an incident xAlert retries faster to confirm the problem before waking you.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. You can start anonymously and create your first project right away. Link an email later so you do not lose access when you change device.
Can I send alerts to my team?
Yes. Invite people to a project and everyone assigned to it receives the alert on their own devices. Free projects are single-user.
Can I integrate it with my own tools?
Yes. There is an open REST API for pushing metrics and receiving webhooks, so you can wire it into CI pipelines, Prometheus, Grafana or your own scripts.
