This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains what data Bitlink GmbH (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects and processes when you use the mobile application xAlert (the “App”) and how that data is protected. By installing or using the App, you (“User”) agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Data We Collect
- 1.1. Technical Information. Device type, OS version, language settings, and internal app identifier.
- 1.2. Monitoring Data. URLs and check parameters you add in the App. These data are stored in our secured database; transmission between the App and our servers is protected by TLS.
- 1.3. Subscription Data. Information about your paid plan status provided by Google Play or the App Store (we never receive card details).
- 1.4. Diagnostics & Crash Logs (optional). Anonymous crash reports that help us improve stability.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To perform URL and metric monitoring and to send push notifications.
- To back up projects when you sign in with Google or Apple ID.
- To process subscription billing via the app stores.
- To analyze issues and improve service quality.
3. Storage & Security
Data are stored on secure servers in the EU within a restricted‑access database. Transmission between the App and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Only authorized staff with confidentiality obligations can access the data.
4. Data Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- when required by law or court order;
- for payment processing by Google Play / App Store (we do not receive card data);
- with infrastructure providers (hosting, push gateways) strictly as needed to operate the service, under confidentiality agreements.
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The App does not use cookies. The website xalert.app may use analytics cookies; details are provided in the separate cookie policy on the site.
6. Data Retention
We store project data as long as you use the App. If you delete a project or email support@xalert.app, the data will be permanently erased within 30 days, unless required otherwise by law.
7. Your Rights
- Right of access – request a copy of your data.
- Right to rectification – correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure – delete your data and account (you can do this directly in the profile page of the App). More details here.
- Right to data portability – receive your data in a machine‑readable format.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in the App or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
